Demeco Reduces the Carbon Footprint of Mobility, 2026/09/11

As a major player in domestic and international moving services, Demeco fully supports the Hexvia Group’s decarbonisation strategy.

As part of the French Environment and Energy Management Agency’s Objectif CO2 programme, Hexvia committed to reducing the carbon intensity of its activities by 28% over three years. The Group exceeded this target in 2025, achieving a 36.6% reduction in Scope 1 CO2 emissions per kilometre compared with 2022.

Measured by Carbone 4 and certified by Carbometrix, these results reflect concrete operational measures, including route and load optimisation, the development of consolidated moving services, the use of alternative fuels and continuous improvements in fleet performance.

For companies, this approach helps reduce the environmental impact associated with employee mobility, both within France and internationally. It also provides reliable data that can be incorporated into their CSR policies and supplier performance monitoring.
