Senior Manager Group Total Rewards – Global Mobility & Compensation
BIC GROUP

What is your role?

As international mobility and compensation manager for Bic, my role is to develop policy in these 2 fields and to ensure that it is properly applied within the group, in concert with our HR community, all while supporting our staff. I have the pleasure of working in our Total Rewards center of expertise based at company headquarters, allowing me to learn, through my colleagues’ expertise, about the other subjects covered here.

What is your hidden talent?

Doubtless not a talent that would allow me to switch careers, but I love ballet, even if these days I am more likely to go to see a ballet rather than do any ballet dancing myself!

What do you like the most about your job?

What I like the most about this job is its diversity: the range of subjects covered, the level of technical skills required, the management of people, as well as the international and multicultural dimension, among other things. The advantage in this job is that it changes from day to day!

Any advice for people new to the profession?

Perhaps “be curious and believe in yourself!” But do they really need advice? Everyone’s aspirations and experiences are so different that I think it best to give them the opportunity to gain their experience in their own way.
