For me, the Cercle Magellan is a way of reaching out to others, and therefore of deepening my knowledge of all international mobility-related topics. Its organization allows each company to share its experience with another.
It is the perfect arena for developing your network, benchmarking the various aspects of international mobility and obtaining a well-rounded expert perspective that is hard to find elsewhere.
The Cercle Magellan offers access to the trends and issues that we come across in our day-to-day work.
It facilitates exchange with other companies and offers legal monitoring of a multitude of countries that would be difficult without it.
Lastly, a good atmosphere among members and the team at the workshops and events really makes the difference.
After 8 of the last 10 years of my career in HR abroad, the Cercle is ideal for developing my network of French professionals. What a welcome! Thank you Cercle Magellan!
The Cercle Magellan is my bedrock!
> very useful resources in a growing work environment, and one in which I need information to give us structure;
> a window on the concerns and practices of other companies, notably via the forum;
> market data and current trends that help us build our compensation policies.
Beyond the network, it is about feedback on practices given simply and confidentially, which save us a lot of time. And it is also good to see that many others are asking themselves the same questions, for which some have already explored ideas for solutions.
The Cercle Magellan is the opportunity to learn about contemporary topics that are sometimes new, to develop relationships between professionals and to help each other by sharing our practices and feedback in very diverse sectors and in various locations.
The Cercle Magellan, it’s a breather, open-mindedness, new ideas and easy access to discussion with colleagues from elsewhere.
As the only representative of my function in the company, I draw a maximum of information and knowledge from the Cercle Magellan via the members, the speakers, the events, the forum and the documentary databases.
Opportunities to discuss topical issues as well as to share experiences, which is always very useful. Not forgetting the chance for some quality time with colleagues.
The Cercle Magellan is a great network for sharing information. It is a source for precise and appropriate information, expertise, trend forecasting, best practices and of course contact with other companies to exchange on shared issues.
Cercle Magellan membership offers me the possibility of exchanging and sharing with peers about our profession, our practices and our challenges.
The Cercle Magellan is a unique venue for exchange among professionals with a shared passion for their job. Sharing of experience and a helping hand among members are in the Cercle Magellan’s DNA. It is a valuable tool in a constantly changing professional environment.
The Cercle Magellan is very responsive, and my sincere thanks go to the whole team for the support offered during the Covid pandemic, when we needed to exchange and support each other.
The Cercle Magellan also allows us to meet trusted providers accredited thanks to other members’ feedback, which saves valuable time.
Magellan is a forum for exchanging my experiences, practices and challenges with peers in a friendly environment thanks to the format of the events, organized and orchestrated by a fantastic team!
I have been a member of the Cercle Magellan since 2016 and have found that it offers not only regular contributions to strategic talent management issues, but also very tangible and practical discussions with other companies or consultancies. It is also a very welcoming and connected network, with an admirable spirit of sharing. In short, it offers a lot to learn and the chance to make some great professional connections!
C&B has to be a creative force to help the company to innovate and adapt. At the Cercle Magellan, we feed off each other's experiences and points of view. It is a source of expertise and a way to find providers who enjoy our expert community’s seal of approval. Technical issues are handled seriously but always in a friendly atmosphere that encourages professionals to help each other out. There are few professions that can offer such an environment.
An inter-company community in which we can share, challenge our practices, feed off the brilliant successes of others and find out how others are facing up to the challenges that we are all facing. All in a supportive and open atmosphere, and supported by a dream team, of course!
The Cercle Magellan is where I come to find new ideas. It is where I think outside the box to bring new solutions to my company.
First, it is a fantastic platform for benchmarking our practices with other companies, it is always insightful. Second, meeting students when participating in round tables as part of their courses.
Cercle Magellan membership offers a network for high-quality complex technical exchanges. I can never thank Célia Dorlhac and the rest of the team enough for the speed with which they set up the Thursday morning sessions during the first lockdown (Covid-19). All the new international mobility issues were covered, practically as they arose. An invaluable source of information!
Cercle Magellan membership offers networking, knowledge, open-mindedness and opportunities to meet my peers.
The Cercle Magellan is a collegial space to learn from experts and peers.
I particularly appreciate the Réseau ETI, tailored to companies that face all the problems of a large company without all the resources, and the discussion forum where we help each other out.
With the Magellan Network I can develop my expertise while meeting my counterparts from other companies. It allows me to verify my ideas, test them out and benefit from the practices of others, all in a warm and friendly environment, which is obviously even better.
I can very highly recommend the Magellan Network as an endless and reliable source of benchmarking and technical information. I appreciate the mix of targeted technical subjects with more future-focused topics, which often let us stretch our imaginations by taking a step back in how we think about our organizations. I would add that the friendliness of Magellan events is absolutely essential and much appreciated: it allows for exchange and encourages transparency among peers.”
Simon Lechantre, International Mobility Department Manager, Essilor
What I appreciate most about the Magellan Network is its organization, the choice of topics that are covered, easy access to information online, and the ability to quickly contact fellow colleagues in the field.
For me, the Magellan Network provides the information I need on a daily basis. The quality of the Magellan Network's presentations, events, online information, and exchanges among members, make membership essential for any International Mobility professional.
