The Magellan Network makes every event, regardless of the form it takes, a success. It does so by choosing its subjects with care and striving to find high-caliber speakers.

The topics covered are always those requested by member companies. Each year members receive a survey on topics for the following year.

Approximately ten events are organized each year and take various forms:

Annual Conference

The key event in the club's calendar, and reserved for managers.
The International Comp and Ben Club brings its members together for a two-day residential conference in a beautiful location (outside Paris) to allow them to exchange in a collegial atmosphere.

Plenary Session

The plenary session gives you the chance to spend a day sharing and discussing topical and technical subjects. The meeting includes a cocktail reception and seated lunch, as well as a meeting between Magellan members and service providers.

Several events in the course of the year give you the opportunity to look at various Comp and Ben subjects in detail. Members gain insights from expert speakers and have the opportunity to share their own experiences and/or questions.

Country focus

Each year, the Magellan Network organizes a meeting for members of all three clubs to come together to exchange on HR issues and practices in one chosen country. Different HR professionals and experts are invited to bring members from our three clubs their insights on cross-cultural concerns, trends in compensation and benefits, issues surrounding international mobility to and from the country, and talent management.

It is an excellent opportunity to build dialogue and synergies between different HR departments!

After-work drinks

A chance for members of the network's three clubs to get together for a drink at a Parisian street café to celebrate the start of the summer!

Managers’ Dinner

A dinner restricted to Comp and Ben managers and directors on a subject related to occupational outlook.

Other activities

In addition to these events, benchmarks are organized to help members position themselves correctly in relation to market practices. These meetings are arranged at members' request and data shared remains confidential: only participants receive the results of these benchmarks.

In order to foster exchange, even members in very distant locations can take part in some of these meetings via video-conference.
