What is your role?

As international mobility manager at Groupe Assystem, my first role is to ensure that the international transfers of the group’s employees go smoothly.
The second part of my job is to carry out studies on international mobility projects; these can relate to different issues such as transfer costs, local legal and regulatory requirements, taxation, social protection, etc.
Lastly, I also play a role in advising and assisting each of my contacts, whether that be colleagues, operational staff, HR, subsidiaries or the payroll and finance teams, on all international mobility-related subjects. 

What is your hidden talent?

More than a talent, I really enjoy practicing my photography; trying out, through an image, colors, composition, creating an ambiance or an emotion, immortalizing an instant.
It’s just the opportunity to share a Picasso quote that I am fond of: “The purpose of life is to find your gift. The meaning of life is to give it away”.

What do you like the most about your job?

Undeniably, its diversity, whether in terms of the tasks, cultures, projects or contacts. 
That is what makes my job so enriching, and so complex too. 
And even though I love how technical the job is, I would not be happy in it without the human contact and relations that it entails!

Any advice for people new to the profession?

Be curious and open-minded, have a sense of service.
More generally, stay engaged and true to your values.
