International Events Magellan Network

Our network is continuing to expand its activities and organise events in London, Brussels, Barcelona, and Singapore.

As a member of the Magellan Network, you are welcome to participate in all these events, and include your HR correspondents of your subsidiaries.

In keeping with the spirit and independence of the Magellan Network, we do not invite consultants or service providers (apart from guest speakers) in order to foster an environment where ideas may be freely voiced and exchanged.

This information is available in English to reach the widest audience possible.

FRANCE, 23 MARCH 2012

The first ever Franco-German International HR Roundtable co-organised by the Magellan Network and the German Association for Personnel Management (DGFP), with the support of Mercer, was hold in Paris, France on 23 March 2012. This roundtable was designed to allow German & French HR professionals to discuss, explore and share their strategic visions.

SINGAPORE, 9 NOVEMBER 2011

The Magellan Network hosted its yearly benchmark meeting in Singapore on the topic of 2012 salary increases.

An international professional network dedicated to international mobility and human resources

The International  Mobility Club provides its members, mostly International Human Resources and Mobility Managers, with the opportunity to meet, discuss and share information.

The Network was created on June 17th, 1998 at the request of representatives responsible for international HR for about ten companies. They wanted to share and reflect on professional subjects and issues. Their roles involved specific techniques, methods and practices as well as a required knowledge of various and complex applicable country regulations.

The International  Mobility Club’s aim is to help its members to better deal with the wide field they evolve in and with an environment, regulations and practices that change quite rapidly.

As of January 2007, over 140 multinational companies were part of the International  Mobility Club. These represented approximately 40,000 cross-border movements.

Membership

The International  Mobility Club is reserved for Human Resources and Mobility Managers. It is also a private club, which means the management reserves the right to refuse non-suitable application for membership.

The members of the Club pay an annual membership fee to have access to the different services. They are provided with technical information available on a private website.
