Services and Activites

The Magellan Network created two clubs to deal with the specific problems linked to International Human Resources:

• The HR & Mobility Club:
  for International Human Resources and Mobility issues
• The Comp & Ben Club:
  for Compensation & Benefits issues

Each club allows members to contact other professionals who are confronted with similar issues, establish new professional relationships and to stay in contact.

Both Clubs have access to an on-line Resource and Information Center* which allows members to track developments, practices, and rules in the domain of International Human Resources, Comp & Ben and Mobility. This Center is available only to members.

*Some resources are available to all members, some are restricted to members of certain Clubs.

This Club unites directors of International Human Resources and managers of International Mobility who wish to be informed and to exchange on the policies, practices and rules connected to International Mobility.

The HR & Mobility Club allows an exchange between professionals throughout the world confronted with similar issues, to establish new professional relationships and to stay in contact.  The Club offers:

• The HR & Mobility Directory
  Member contact information (company, full name, status, telephone, address, e-mail, company activity, etc.)  The international contact information is included, to know who to address in case of a problem on a specific theme.

• The professional forum, allows members to:
  • Ask questions, discuss problems and perform research.  Submissions are automatically forwarded to all members for open response
  • Consult the questions and answers given

• Thematic HR & Mobility Meetings
  Web Conferencing allows members to participate in meetings on themes chosen by the members in the beginning of the year (immigration, tax, management of returning expatriates, social protection, international human resources policies, etc.).  After a presentation by an expert, the members are invited to benchmark.

The Comp & Ben club unites managers who deal with issues of remuneration and social advantages on the corporate and international level.

The Comp & Ben Club allows professionals throughout the world, who are confronted with similar preoccupations, to meet, establish and maintain new professional contacts.  This club offers:

• The Comp & Ben Annual Directory
  Member contact information (company, full name, status, telephone, address, e-mail, company activity, etc.)  International  informations are included, to know who to address in case of a problem on a specific theme.

• The C&B professional forum, allows members to:
  • ask questions, discuss problems and perform research.  Submissions are automatically forwarded to all members for open response
  • Consult the questions and answers given

• Thematic Comp & Ben Meetings
  Web Conferencing allows members to participate in meetings on themes chosen by the members in the beginning of the year (retirement, valuation of the remuneration, insurance contract, pooling, etc.).  After a presentation by a expert, the members are invited to benchmark.
