Magellan International Board

Set up within the network in 2004, the Magellan International Board is a permanent body for liaison and dialogue among companies, public bodies and institutions. It is a natural partner for ministries, administrative authorities and institutions on subjects related to international mobility and compensation.

This body sets up meetings and encourages  information exchange and debate on:

  • international human resources issues;
  • company practices and policies;
  • regulatory plans and changes in France.

Since 2005, the Magellan Network publishes a white paper on international mobility, which gives an overview of the main trends and changes in the field, and of the main concerns of companies and their employees on the subject. This white paper is updated regularly. The most recent edition was published in 2014 and a new edition, including issues relating to compensation, is underway.

The Magellan International Board is chaired by Jean Pautrot, a foreign trade adviser, member of the board of the Mission Laïque Française and former director of Group Service Mobility at EDF. It is coordinated and run by Célia Dorlhac, director of the Magellan Network's International Mobility Club and Jean-Luc Breysach, director of the International Comp & Ben Club. The Magellan Network’s legal team offers support.

Throughout the year, opportunities for exchange on topical subjects are organized for members concerned.
